In The Bag is a $32K colt trotter purchase from the 2026 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale. He is by Tactical Approach and out of the Chapter Seven mare Moni In The Bag. He is from the first crop of Hambletonian winner Tactical Approach (3, 1:50.1 $1,544,489). He has a strong modern pedigree with his 1st dam being by hall of fame premier trotting stallion Chapter Seven and his 2nd dam being by hall of fame trotting stallion Cantab Hall. He comes from a family that includes winners such as Pick Pocket (2, 1:153.1 $208,378), Can’t Have My Moni (3, 1:54.2f $146,059), Don’t Ask For More (3, 1:54.1f $150,260) and world champion Moni maker (3, 1:52.1 $5,589,256). Trainer Paul Kelley also trained In The Bag’s sister Onthemonihoney who competed in MA Breeders Stakes both as a 2yo and 3yo. During his Lindy Farms visit, In The Bag caught Paul’s attention as the colt is smart, good sized, strong and moves around very nicely. The price for him was exceptional and we are very happy. In The Bag is eligible to the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes, Kentucky Sire Stakes and Massachusetts Breeders Stakes programs.
