Go For Glory Stable was founded in 2021 by Pedro Baez. In 2025, Go For Glory Stable merged with Charlie Longo who co-founded both Winner’s Circle Racing in 2015 and Diamond Racing Stable in 2022.
The GFG training team is comprised of successful and well-respected horsemen such as Paul Kelley, Rob & Patti Harmon and Shane & Lauren Tritton.
The ownership group is primarily focused on claiming and purchasing racehorses mainly for high level overnight racing at Yonkers Raceway, Meadowlands Racetrack, Pocono Downs, Saratoga Raceway and Plainridge Park. We also import racehorses from New Zealand/Australia, England, Canada and Italy.
Additionally, we also invest in well-bred yearling prospects who are eligible for the lucrative New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Program and Massachusetts Breeders Stakes Program.

We pride ourselves on regular communication on our horses. New members can invest as little as 1% to get in the game.
How do I become a member with Go for Glory Stable?
It’s very easy and self-service. Simply browse the available horses for sale on the ‘Our Horses’ page, click on the horse and % quantity you’d like, and complete your online purchase. On the bottom of the page, you can also subscribe to the website to be kept updated on GFG news or new horse acquisitions.
What is the price range for Go For Glory Stable Horses?
GFG focuses on quality horses to give members the best chance for success. The overnight horses that compete weekly can typically range from $20k-$85k depending on the horse’s ability. Similarly for yearling purchases, they will generally cost in that same price range as we seek to acquire the best pedigree available at an affordable price.
What is the revenue potential for GFG horses?
Overnight horses typically race 3x a month and approximately 30-35x a year and can race for $10k-$35k per race at the top tracks. Stakes horses (2yo & 3yo) typically race approximately 10x in their 2yo season and 20x in their 3yo season. Stakes races can go for $20k-$100k+ per race with finals ranging from $100k-$300k+.
How much is a typical monthly training bill with GFG?
The costs usually average between $3,500-$4,500/month for a horse in training and racing. The costs would be reduced if the horse is being rested and on an extended break.
Does Go for Glory Stable collect any fees for managing the group?
GFG does not assess a stable management fee per horse nor does GFG receive a percentage of purse earnings. All horse acquisition prices will be available at cost with no mark-up. The one exception being that GFG earns a 5% commission on all transactions in the GFG Marketplace and Auctions.
Does Go For Glory Stable distribute monthly statements?
Once training bills are received by GFG, the monthly statements will be distributed to all GFG members by email. These statements will include your horse investments, purse earnings and the monthly costs associated with your horses. The member can remit payment online via Paypal, Venmo, Credit/Debit Card, and Zelle. If the member has a credit, GFG can either send the proceeds to the member or he/she can elect to rollover the profit as a credit on their account to offset future bills or horse purchases.
